We are proud to announce our Summer to Serve campaign!

We at Diary of a Family are encouraging everyone to find a volunteer opportunity this summer, then snap a picture and upload it to social media using the hashtag #summertoserve21. Watch the video below for more information.

Support Summer to Serve

So how can you be a part of this movement? Easy! For starters, show your support by purchasing a See These? They Serve t-shirt (Click image for link to store page). Proceeds will be donated to a charity chosen by the D-Fam.

Secondly, chose a cause or volunteer opportunity that speaks to you and begin serving. This can be something as simple as a soup kitchen, or reading to a blind neighbor. Perhaps you have skills with tools and paint and can complete much needed repairs to someone’s home. You really only need a little imagination.

Third, share with as many people as you can through social media and by word of mouth. How many people can we impact if everyone is looking for a way to help others? This truly could change things for thousands of people. And it starts with you and me.

2. Post about your project on FaceBook and InstaGram.
3. Use the hashtage #summertoserve21.
4. Watch as we compile a list of all the great things our community has accomplished.

Daily Vlog

Finally, follow Diary of a Family on YouTube as we launch our series, 30 Days to Serve, beginning May 19th. The daily vlog will document our service in the communities we visit as we travel through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. It will highlight those who have joined the movement by posting their #summertoserve21 photos/videos, and will bring awareness to opportunities that might be right for you!
